I WILL MISS MY LONGNSTANDING FRIEND OFF OVER 45 YEARS WHEN WE GOT TOGETHER AND SORTED OUT THE WORLD TROUBLES AND OUR OWEN. REST IN PEACE JIM FROM .
JIM HENDERSON
JAMES
18th January 2021
A Stafford is many things, a pal, a dad, the son of a mother.
But once James had his cap badge, he became our brother
He did not brag and shout, of the things that he had done
He saw no need to talk to strangers, of battles he had won
A Stafford does not glory hunt, or demand a stash of gongs
James had no use for story’s, or daft heroic songs
Instead he did it all quietly, but with his head held high
Always the true professional, he did not question why
A born leader, a Soldier, a man you would follow into war
A boxer, a fighter, a true gentleman and much more
Words cannot convey, our sadness and sorrow
For James has now gone, and has no tomorrow
James Stewart we are proud, to have called you a friend
Our condolences to his family, with much love do we send
He will never be forgotten, in our hearts he remains forever
A warrior now at rest, with his old comrades, reunited, together.
